Job Summary
Perform assembly, performance testing, and verification of advanced fluid-control components for aerospace and nuclear applications. Operate, maintain, and develop high-pressure test systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, and calibration-fluid stands. Conduct electrical testing using oscilloscopes and diagnostic tools while working within controlled clean-room environments. Troubleshoot and repair hardware using systematic diagnostic methods and validate results against engineering procedures and blueprints. Maintain a clean, safe work area and lift equipment up to 50 lbs as needed. This role requires 5+ years of technical maintenance experience and is scheduled for the 1st shift at Valcor Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of technical or mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience using various hand and measurement tools including but not limited to torque wrenches, height gauges, and calipers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical procedures
- Proven experience assembling and testing electro‐mechanical hardware
- Hands‐on experience with high‐pressure fluid, gas, and cryogenic testing
- Proficiency in electrical testing, including dielectric and insulation‐resistance testing
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience working in clean‐room environments
- Minimum: High School Diploma
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational school graduate, Associate Degree or Certificate in Engineering Technology
- Manufacturing or machining experience
