Job Summary
Determine root cause of failed transmissions and repair defects in Uson Test and Test Sand rejects, documenting findings for quality improvement. Disassemble units to identify assembly errors and suggest process enhancements. Operate air impact guns and hand tools to remove and install fasteners, while inspecting parts for defects and scrapping non-conforming items. Perform operator maintenance on assigned equipment and adhere to QS 9000 and ISO 14001 system policies. Read technical information and learn test stand operations to fulfill job requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to comprehend technical information
- Must be able to read legibly
- Must be able to write legibly
- Must be willing to pursue technical schooling in a timely manner
- Must be able to learn the operation of the test stand
- Must be able to grip a minimum of 80 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have depth perception
