Technician - 2nd Shift

Technician role supporting maintenance and engineering with hands-on technical expertise. Responsibilities include solving technical problems, developing and maintaining records for future problem solving, submitting written recommendations and implementing changes or procedural modifications, participating in equipment selection and evaluation, performing improvements and repairs in the assigned area, working with limited supervision, proposing changes with back-up information, and delivering training on new equipment. The position develops spare parts and tooling inventory within budget, investigates problem areas, evaluates alternatives, implements approved changes, and monitors results. Requires a Technical Diploma or Associate’s Degree in a related field or 2–4 years of related experience; may be classified at A (SG28), B (SG27), or C (SG26) depending on experience.
