Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment. Execute troubleshooting for hydraulic and electrical systems while adhering to safety standards to minimize downtime. Requires 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, ability to lift 50 pounds or more, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual candidates may be required depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other)
- May need to provide mechanic's tools of the trade
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to squat
- Must be able to crouch
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to work indoors
- Must be able to work outdoors
