Job Summary
Field Service Technician II responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding material handling equipment (engines, hydraulics, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, brakes, lifting components); perform inspections, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and basic welding or fabrication work to ensure equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications. Manage service documentation, maintain parts and supplies, and keep company vehicles clean, safe, and ready for daily customer support. Follow all safety standards and regulatory requirements, complete ongoing technical training, and contribute to a strong Safety-First culture while supporting service team growth and recruiting efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience repairing material handling equipment, heavy equipment, diesel-powered machinery, or related equipment.
