Technician 2

Lead Technician II responsibilities include purchasing samples/supplies for the site and arranging subcontracted testing to external labs, conducting testing of consumer products with basic bench analysis using prescribed methods, recording data, maintaining test equipment and lab cleanliness, ensuring data reliability per BV Quality guidelines, organizing workload to meet turnaround times, and preparing written technical reports. The role requires following industry standards and BV Quality System, interfacing with senior staff for direction on interpretations, and providing feedback to improve department processes. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or equivalent with relevant experience; travel may be required across the Canadian border.
