Job Summary
Perform assembly, performance testing, and verification of advanced fluid-control components for aerospace and nuclear applications. Operate, maintain, and develop high-pressure test systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, and calibration-fluid stands. Conduct electrical testing using oscilloscopes and diagnostic tools while working in controlled clean-room environments with accurate particulate analysis. Troubleshoot, repair, and validate hardware using systematic methods and blueprints. Maintain a clean, safe work area and lift equipment up to 50lbs. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with 1+ years of mechanical maintenance experience, proficiency in electrical testing, and a background in clean-room environments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of technical or mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience using various hand and measurement tools including but not limited to torque wrenches, height gauges, and calipers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical procedures
- Proven experience assembling and testing electro‐mechanical hardware
- Hands‐on experience with high‐pressure fluid, gas, and cryogenic testing
- Proficiency in electrical testing, including dielectric and insulation‐resistance testing
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience working in clean‐room environments
- Minimum: High School Diploma
- All candidates must meet the US persons criteria
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing or machining experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware using diagnostic tools
- Vocational school graduate, Associate Degree or Certificate in Engineering Technology
- Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate across functions
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to mentor junior technicians
