Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to avoid downtime, focusing on Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines including large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment. Utilize knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems for troubleshooting while providing tools of trade in a safety-focused environment. Work with a team to build skills across various makes and models, developing expertise for a career track in service or operation management. Requires 1 to 3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy construction equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment)
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to work indoors/outdoors when required by the job
