Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and make repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Work with a variety of makes, models, and equipment including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment. Build skills by working on diverse machinery while developing new skills for a career track in service or operation management within a safety-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment)
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to work indoors/outdoors when required by the job
Desired Qualifications
- Some trade school or equivalent training
