Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I at Dollar Tree Distribution Center performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical/controls equipment to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical problems using blueprints/schematics and diagnostic tools, assisting other technicians, maintaining organized work area, documenting work orders and communicating issues to leadership, and operating material handling equipment. Requires coursework or certification in electronic technology or 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology with PLC/PC programming knowledge; hands-on electrical experience (480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, 24 VDC); willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays. Full-time role located in Windsor, Connecticut; on-site at the distribution center.
Required Qualifications
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology OR 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
- PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
