Technical writter III

As a Technical Writer III in Thermo Fisher Scientific's Life Sciences business unit, you will define, develop, and manage technical publications for our global customers, helping optimize their learning and integration of our electron microscopy solutions. You will develop and deliver technical content, define content strategies and architecture for sophisticated publications, conduct interviews and research to capture source material, architect audience-appropriate content using multimedia, design user research to define audiences and measure effectiveness, and manage projects by implementing new publication workflows, communicating plans to leadership and partners, and driving cross-functional initiatives. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and priorities, and contribute to process improvements and strategic roadmaps. Key qualifications include a BS/BA in a writing- or science-related field (or equivalent), 5+ years of technical writing experience, experience in electron microscopy or life sciences, Agile environment experience, expert knowledge of structured authoring and Madcap Flare, XML-based tools, GitLab, HTML, CSS, and proven cross-cultural teamwork and strong communication skills.
