Job Summary

Develop, refine, and maintain user guides, API documentation, and onboarding materials that translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging narratives for developers, customers, and internal teams. Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Solutions teams to understand new features, build documentation that evolves alongside the product, and improve the developer experience by identifying gaps and collecting feedback. Establish documentation standards, templates, and best practices that scale with the company while using visuals, diagrams, and modern techniques to ensure accuracy across a rapidly evolving product.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another STEM-related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer supporting software products, APIs, developer platforms, or enterprise SaaS
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, structured, and engaging way
  • Comfortable reading technical documentation, APIs, JSON, and working closely with engineers to understand how products work
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across a rapidly evolving product
  • Experience using modern documentation platforms such as Markdown, Git, GitHub, CMS platforms, Notion, Confluence, or similar tools
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup where priorities evolve and documentation often needs to be built from scratch
  • Strong collaboration skills and confidence working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Design, and Customer-facing teams
