Job Summary
Technical Writer responsible for producing high-quality manuals and training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborates with engineers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather information and ensure content accuracy. Creates hydraulic and electrical circuit schematics/diagrams from engineering drawings and conducts research on new technologies to keep documentation up to date. Improves content based on user feedback and maintains consistency, professionalism, and technical precision across all documentation. Requires strong writing, grammar, and editing skills, ability to translate complex concepts into clear content, and proficiency with tools such as Adobe InDesign, Paligo CCMS, Adobe Illustrator, SolidWorks/SolidWorks Composer, and related documentation software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as English, Communications, Computer Science or Engineering
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly documentation
- Proficiency with documentation tools (Adobe InDesign, Paligo CCMS, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Designer, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Composer)
- Meticulous proofreading and attention to detail
