Job Summary
Technical Writer will develop, write, and edit clear, well-structured proposal content by synthesizing technical input from SMEs into cohesive, compliant submissions. Responsibilities include analyzing solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs), maintaining proposals in Excel/CRM, updating documentation, drafting and formatting deliverables, creating proposal graphics and marketing collateral, ensuring compliance matrices, and coordinating with executives and SMEs to translate win themes into persuasive content. The role requires attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines, proficiency with Office and PDF tools, and the ability to maintain organized proposal files; a Bachelor’s degree (or 2+ years in proposal writing) and driver’s license may be required, with background checks and confidentiality obligations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in proposal writing and/or business development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and PDF tools
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex documents
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Formal proposal certification and training (Shipley, APMP) desired
- Familiarity with government procurement terms preferred
- Possess a valid State-issued Driver’s License for all positions that are required to drive a vehicle for company purposes
- Successfully pass Criminal Background Check
- Maintain any training and credential requirements as per policy and company contracts
