Job Summary
Prepare, review, and maintain technical documents for software, systems engineering, operations, testing, and user guidance. Write and edit documentation covering installation, configuration, and how-to procedures for hardware and software. Create code documentation, implementation guides, end-user guides, and field, data definition, and data flow documentation. Format technical publications from pamphlets, drawings, and consultations with technical personnel. Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and eight years of technical writing experience in similar government programs. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Eight (8) years of experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of additional TW experience (at least 10 total years)
- Experience documenting systems, and systems of systems in accordance with systems engineering standards and practices
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
