Job Summary
Produce high-quality technical documentation including bulletins, installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and parts manuals for the global product line. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to interpret engineering data, create line drawings and diagrams, and format service literature for print and web publication. Monitor engineering changes to update documentation and ensure accurate communication of product revisions to internal teams and customers. Interpret technical concepts and industry terminology to make them easily understandable for non-technical users and maintenance personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Degree
- minimum of 3 years previous experience
- minimum of 5 years previous technical documentation experience
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Develop documents and graphics that are clear and user friendly
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts / industry terminology and make them easily understandable in written and visual formats
- Excellent communication skills; verbal & written
- Ability to read engineering documents, drawings, and bills of material
- Strong computer skills with experience working with the following programs: Adobe Creative Cloud FrameMaker & Legacy Adobe ProE / CAD / 3D programs /Canvas Microsoft Office Website CMS
