Job Summary
Technical Writer III responsible for developing and maintaining documentation for the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform. You will manage technical documentation projects from design to release, collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Designers, QA, Customer Success, and other stakeholders, gather requirements, provide input on UI/UX and documentation integration, edit for accuracy and quality, and serve as a subject matter expert in technical writing. You will use git for source control and peer reviews, participate in style-guide development, content strategy, and content audits, and distill complex concepts into clear, engaging documentation. Required technical know-how includes Linux/CLI, Docker and Kubernetes, web technologies (HTTP, REST, JSON), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware vSphere). A BA/BS or equivalent experience and at least three years of technical writing experience are expected. The team operates across time zones with Hybrid/Remote work arrangements; location flexibility is supported with hybrid options for on-site work within commutable distances and remote work where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in Technical Communications, Writing, English, or a related area -- or -- equivalent experience
- At least three years’ technical writing experience

- experience with container technologies using Docker and Kubernetes

- experience with cloud technologies -- both public and private -- such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware vSphere
