Job Summary
Develop documentation sets including concept, reference, and task-oriented information for retail project installation audiences. Identify plans, revise technical writing requirements, and research source material while collaborating with program teams to develop specifications, field procedures, and user documentation. Conduct testing for correctness and usability, organize content according to established standards, and coordinate review and validation cycles with cross-functional contributors. May require overnight travel to attend concept projects and capture live situations. This role supports the major home improvement retailer's retail project execution team by ensuring clear, accurate guides for project installation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or significant job-related experience
- Proficient in MS Office specifically, Word, Excel, Power Point
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
