Job Summary
This role involves researching, writing, editing, and proofreading technical documentation, including manuals and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government standards. Candidates should have at least 4 years of technical writing experience, preferably with military manuals, and a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Proficiency in desktop publishing and Microsoft Office products is essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to work within a team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical writing/editing
- Proficient in desktop publishing and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Knowledge of proper English grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation
- Ability to review and analyze others’ writing in a constructive manner
