Job Summary
Technical Writer/Editor for a government contract supporting a client in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include generating communications ideas around IT issues, planning/researching, coordinating content across websites and emails, creating leadership briefs and promotional materials, developing content strategy, gathering input from stakeholders, drafting internal communications, translating technical input into accessible language, liaising with executives, managing revisions in SharePoint, drafting and publishing documents in Word and Acrobat, coordinating across divisions, ensuring brand consistency, and developing one-page slick sheets and presentations while adhering to client standards. Required TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience; full-time role with a salary range of $60,000–$180,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- five (5) years of experience in a similar position with a large organization
- Communications strategy and execution experience
- Process development and improvement experience
