Job Summary
Complete Technical Orders per established processes and guidelines for Air Force Programs. Review initial analysis from more experienced editors to ensure thorough understanding of requirements. Incorporate changes to technical orders as defined by the Project Lead, Performance Work Statement, and Military standards. Follow quality standards for TO deliverables and consistently meet program and quality objectives for technical data products. Assist with completion of tasks while maintaining strong oral and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
Required Qualifications
- SECRET Level Clearance
- US Citizen with the ability to be approved for an active Secret Level Clearance
- Experience or education in editing, Publishing, website development, or coding
- Strong communication, leadership, and writing skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Dependable attendance
- Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with manuals such as tagged data, SGML, XML structured and unstructured content, illustrated parts breakdowns (IPBs), job guides, flight manuals, checklists
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and other data related to operation maintenance, and service of equipment
- Experience with Military Technical Orders/Manuals as an end user
