Job Summary
Create technical documentation for Dometic products and brands using an Oxygen XML/DITA XML environment, ensuring compliance with national and international laws and technical standards. Act as the Single Point of Contact for product managers and factory representatives to manage all technical documentation projects. Allocate 75% of time to authoring tasks and 25% to QA, implementation, and development of authoring guidelines. Secure the creation, translation, archiving, and publication of operating, installation, and service manuals, while monitoring translation quality and adapting processes to latest technical developments. Develop and enforce layout and editorial guidelines, maintain consistent terminology, and research applicable technical standards and directives.
Required Qualifications
- solid experience within Technical Writing and Project Management
- Oxygen XML/DITA for creating the technical documentation
- modern terminology management tools
- worked in a technical documentation department before
- Technical Writing Bachelor of Engineering/Arts or similar qualification
- at least English Level B2, CET-6 or other equivalent level
- creates, edits and proof-reads technical documentation with Oxygen XML/DITA XML from draft to print
- knows the applicable technical standards, directives and laws
- researches new ones that apply to Dometic products

Desired Qualifications
- experiences of automated content delivery (DocOps) or continuous deployment (CD)
