Job Summary
Authoring and maintaining engineering and manufacturing documentation including technical specifications, design descriptions, procedures, work instructions, validation support documents, and customer-facing manuals; ensure standardization, version control, and change management; translate technical content for internal and external use; develop machine documentation and User Requirement Specifications for R&D; contribute to Human Machine Interface content to ensure clarity for end users; define and maintain standards and terminology for written documents; collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Technology to meet all technical documentation needs; perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications or related field with demonstrated writing ability
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must be willing to take and successfully pass a drug test
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus
- Ability to translate technical information into clear, concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
