Job Summary
Technical Writer needed to join the Engineering staff to author, edit, and maintain documentation for aerospace products, including assembly procedures, test reports, and regulatory-compliance documents. Collaborates with Engineers, Technicians, SMEs, and Program Managers to translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly content; ensures documentation aligns with industry standards and integrates with ERP, job routing, and operator workflows; supports configuration management and document control and contributes to customer-facing materials and training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma is required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
- Experience creating CAD drawings and models
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Must be able to read drawings and technical diagrams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to multi-task and work independently with minimal oversight
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
