Job Summary
Technical Writer supporting defense cybersecurity domain with TS/SCI poly clearance; responsible for authoring and maintaining user guides, SOPs, requirements docs, and training materials; collaborates with engineers, analysts, and SMEs; requires strong documentation templates, Confluence proficiency, and data-analysis tool experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BS) in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science or related discipline
- Seven (7) years’ experience as a Technical Writer in programs of similar scope, type and complexity
- Create documentation for a technical program to include user guides/reference manuals/capability training materials, requirements documents, reports, SOPs, briefings
- Take ownership of existing documentation to ensure it is continually updated
- Own the process of routing technical documentation to ensure accuracy with technical team members
- Work with subject matter experts, system/software engineers, test engineers and analysts
- Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or Computer Science
- Seven plus (7+) years’ experience in two or more of: machine learning/data mining/advanced analytical algorithms/AI/software engineering with data analysis tools
- Experience with Windows server management and Power BI
- Proficiency with Python/Jupyter Notebooks, SQL and relational databases, ElasticSearch/Kibana/OpenSearch; Java a plus
- Background with analyst teams and data visualization
- Experience in cybersecurity mission environment
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- Experience with Confluence
- Experience creating documentation templates
- Collaborative, fast-paced, innovative environment
- Education and Experience: BS in Computer Science/Information Systems or similar; 7+ years as Technical Writer
- Experience with data analysis, cybersecurity context
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams
