Job Summary
Lead the technical evolution of the Lime Solicitors digital platform into a modern, decoupled architecture using Google Cloud Platform and a headless CMS. Maintain and optimise the existing WordPress environment while building reusable components for faster landing page deployment. Own website reliability, performance, and release management, ensuring secure data workflows for marketing attribution and offline conversions. Drive technical SEO improvements, local search visibility, and accessibility standards across the site. Collaborate with lawyers, marketing specialists, and the contact centre to optimise digital intake journeys, online chat, and video-led acquisition. Develop a phased transition roadmap to the future-state platform, establishing clear documentation and governance to prevent single-person dependency.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, ideally including Cloud Run
- Experience working with headless CMS or decoupled website architectures
- Strong understanding of modern web development and frontend architecture
- Experience supporting or migrating WordPress environments
- Experience building dynamic, modular or interactive website experiences
- Strong knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager, ideally including server-side GTM
- Experience with conversion tracking, offline conversions and marketing attribution
- Understanding of integrating website, marketing and operational data flows
- Strong knowledge of technical SEO, site performance and search architecture
- Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profiles
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive UX
- Knowledge of CRO, behavioural analytics and landing-page optimisation
- Understanding of structured content, metadata and semantic search
- Awareness of emerging AI/generative search technologies
- Experience supporting video content and digital acquisition journeys
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
