Job Summary

Oversee the Washington market service department, managing 25+ employees and establishing compensation structures aligned with industry standards. Recruit, motivate, and train the technical force while evaluating operational costs and setting work assignment benchmarks to improve efficiency and bottom-line results. Implement continuous improvement methodologies, leverage analytics for operational enhancements, and champion a customer-centric culture across multiple organizational layers. Collaborate closely with sales teams on account management, participate in strategic planning, and effectively communicate vision to large, distributed teams. Requires 5-10 years in copier/printer repair, prior management of 25+ staff, and 5+ years in a leadership role.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years experience in copier/printer repair industry
  • Prior experience managing 25+ service employees
  • Min. 5 years experience in management or supervisor role
  • Demonstrative ability to recruit, motivate and train our technical force
  • Ability to set compensation structure standard with the industry
  • Ability to set processes & procedures that improve efficiency and bottom line results, while consistently improving our high level of customer service
  • Ability to lead through influence across multiple organizational layers (managers, supervisors, technicians)
  • Builds bench strength among service managers and supervisors
  • Implements continuous improvement methodologies
  • Deep understanding of what it takes to be competent and effective as a manager in the field
  • Focuses on long-term planning
  • Understands and effectively communicates the elements of a P&L
  • Leverages analytics to drive operational improvements
  • Champions customer-centric culture throughout the service organization
  • Collaborates closely with sales teams on account management and growth opportunities
  • Participates in strategic planning and organizational decision-making
  • Manages organizational change initiatives effectively
  • Communicates vision and strategy clearly to large, distributed teams
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners
