Job Summary
Ensure target text correctly reflects the source meaning while performing linguistic tasks per project instructions, including translation memory, glossaries, and style guides. Maintain high grammatical accuracy, key terminology, and cultural references while correcting formatting, tagging, punctuation, and country specifics. Deliver technical translations from Brazilian Portuguese into English with native-level fluency and adherence to CAT tools and guidelines. Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment requiring adaptive problem-solving and professional conduct under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience
- Native speaker in English language
- Excellent command of the Brazilian Portuguese language in both comprehension and writing
- Location: Brazil (mandatory)
- Employment type: Freelance
