Technical Translator, Korean Language

Job Summary
Translate and post-edit machine translations of Red Hat technical content into Korean; translate software user interfaces; QA translations; collaborate with global cross-functional team to improve Korean localization of software manuals and knowledge base articles. Liaise with technical writers, software engineers, and subject-matter experts to clarify and improve translations. Work across English-to-Korean localization of documentation for open source technologies and Red Hat products, leveraging translation management systems and IT topic research to ensure high-quality Korean software localization.
Required Qualifications
- Professional or advanced translation ability and solid writing skills in English and Korean
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with global, cross-functional team
- Ability to research IT topics to ensure accurate and high-quality translations
- Prior experience localizing software user interfaces and documentation from English to Korean is a plus
- Familiarity with translation management systems
- Experience in Engineering is a plus
