Job Summary
Technical Training Instructor to support an automotive OEM training facility in Atlanta, GA. Responsible for preparing and facilitating workshops for dealership technicians to improve diagnostic capabilities and repair competencies, maintaining training facilities, records, and materials, collaborating with corporate and regional teams, and traveling to additional locations as required. Requires extensive automotive diagnostics/repair experience, OEM/ASE certification, and ability to train and engage adult learners; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of work experience in automotive technical repair and diagnostics
- 3+ years of work experience training OEM dealership technicians
- Professional Certification (OEM Master Technician or ASE Master technician)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Automotive Technology a plus
- Strongly preferred bilingual English and Spanish
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Charismatic personality and passion for adult education
- Excellent classroom facilitation skills
- Shop Management skills
