Job Summary
The Technical Trainer at KHS North America is responsible for conducting training on KHS equipment for customers and employees, providing education to meet their needs and exceed expectations. Key responsibilities include training and mentoring Field Service Technicians, developing training materials and programs, and conducting training sessions using various instructional techniques. The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with PLCs, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering or a related field, along with significant training and service experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering or a related field
- At least six years of combined service and formal training experience, five of those years in KHS
- Strong mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and electronic devices being used in KHS machines.
- Clear verbal communication and confidence to speak in front of groups.
- Didactical attitude that demonstrates knowledge on adult learning principles.
- Skilled in creating and developing training resources to support internal and external customers.
- Subject matter expertise on one or more KHS machine groups.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Kisters machinery or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements
- Valid drivers license and passport.
- Travel up to 50%.
