Job Summary
Coordinate needs analysis to determine skill gaps and develop, maintain, and deliver training curricula for assigned employee groups. Collaborate with engineering, program management, and external stakeholders to define content, outcomes, and instructional methods, then format and produce course materials including manuals, online courses, and workshop exercises. Conduct assessments to measure trainee progress, evaluate training effectiveness, and report results to management while ensuring continuous improvement based on feedback. Comply with Cubic's Quality Management System, Occupational Health and Safety policies, and APAC PMO Governance Standards. This role supports Cubic Transportation Systems' mission to simplify daily travel journeys through intelligent payment and information solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree/diploma in a related field or equivalent experience in a relevant role
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in technical training roles
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and measurement of training effectiveness
- Demonstrated success in the design, development, delivery and piloting of training in response to identified training needs and specifications, appropriately utilising a range of best practice training techniques
- Capable of interpreting system specifications to design training material
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office suite, i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, and Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience in Transportation, Automated Fare Collection Systems, or banking/financial sectors
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ITIL, ISO 20000 and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
- Knowledge and experience working in a project environment delivering technical systems
- Experience with products comprised of software applications and hardware solutions
