Job Summary
Deliver operator and technical training at customer sites and to virtual audiences, utilizing PowerPoint, job aids, and hands-on activities to teach tasks ranging from equipment startup to high-voltage X-Ray source replacement. Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to align customer requirements with curriculum, then review and revise instructional materials using Instructional Systems Design methodologies with input from Subject Matter Experts. Explain safety best practices and administrative controls while adhering to strict HSE, export control, and government guidelines. Perform Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to ensure proper alignment of customer needs against training curriculum. Collaborate with Instructional Designers to create new training material, and to revise existing material, with input from SMEs, Field Service, and Voice of Customer within the business. Participate in program reviews, technical interchange meetings and design reviews; explain application of ISD to complex technical concepts to a broad audience. Travel may reach 90% at peak times. Fluency in Spanish is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak fluent in Spanish
- Verbal and written fluency in Spanish is required
- Must be able to obtain and retain U.S. government security clearance
- High school diploma minimum
- 3-5 years of training experience
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance or stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to complete fall protection training, or have an active certificate of completion
- Comfortable with Microsoft 365 suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MS Teams)
- Must have high degree of mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic understanding
Desired Qualifications
- An active certification from an accredited training certification institute, such as ATD, ACCET, or Langevin is preferred
- Years of experience ideally within industry and/or government (military / first responders / automation / aerospace / healthcare / government contractor / etc.)
- French or Portuguese is beneficial
