Technical Trainer - Automotive Quality

Job Summary
Deliver quality engineering training to adult learners at on-site workshops, public seminars, and virtual environments using TRIGO-branded course content. Teach topics including ISO 9001/IATF 16949 auditing, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, LPA, error proofing, GD&T, and effective problem solving. Requires minimum 10 years of experience in automotive, aerospace, or heavy transportation, plus proficiency in MS Office and English presentation skills. Compensation ranges from $500-$700 per day plus expenses for remote online training with occasional travel. Reports to the Director, Global Training Services.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of, and experience in the application of any of the above workshop topics
- Training experience, content delivery and instruction
- Proficient in the English language with excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Polished appearance and professional demeanor, able to work with and understand different business climates/cultures and industries without bias
- Proficient in MS Office skills including Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
- Post-secondary education in engineering, or related experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive, aerospace, heavy transportation, environmental, or management
- Remote Online Training
- some travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Auditor Certification (Exemplar Global/IRCA)
- Experience with ISO 14001:2015 and AS9100
