Job Summary
Lead a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality technology solutions for a remote Brazil-based contractor role. Responsibilities include accurate estimation and resource allocation, ensuring project success with proactive unblocking, maintaining security and quality standards, onboarding and certifying team members, achieving high engineering performance and utilization targets, and participating in hiring using the WHO method. Emphasizes open-source principles, strong communication in English, adherence to timelines (2-day WIP, 4-hour code reviews, 2-day QA), and maintaining rapid collaboration with project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Tech Leader
- Proven ability to lead a team of software engineers
- Experience in technical estimation and resource allocation
- Expertise in maintaining engineering quality and security standards
- Proven ability to create quality software with minimal defects
- Familiarity with the WHO method for hiring and talent acquisition
- Knowledge of Manager Tools best practices for team retention
- Ability to implement delegation according to the 5 Levels of Leadership
- Commitment to ongoing role certification and professional development
- Advanced to fluent English communication skills
