Technical Team Lead – Data & BI (m/f)

Job Summary
Lead, coach, and support a multidisciplinary team of approximately 30 technical consultants delivering Data Warehouse, ETL, and Business Intelligence solutions. Provide technical leadership on initiatives while coordinating project delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and business objectives are met. Act as the main point of contact for business and technical stakeholders, overseeing administrative, operational, and contractual aspects of the team. Support planning, workload allocation, resource coordination, and the continuous evolution of client data platforms. Promote technical best practices, knowledge sharing, and issue resolution across technical and business teams. Onsite presence at the client site in Luxembourg is required. Fluency in French is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Data Integration, Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, or related technical environments
- Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams in complex IT environments
- Strong technical background in IBM DataStage, ETL processes, and Data Warehouse architectures
- Ability to combine technical leadership with business-oriented decision-making and stakeholder management
- Experience coordinating delivery activities, priorities, and team workloads
- Experience managing administrative and operational aspects within a delivery team
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with both business and technical stakeholders
- Fluency in French
- Good command of English
- Onsite presence with clients and partners
- In-person time for collaboration, learning, and relationship-building
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects, Sybase ASE/IQ, or similar Business Intelligence technologies
- Experience working within European institutions or other large international organizations
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience managing large-scale Data & BI or digital transformation initiatives
