Job Summary
Senior Rail Systems Integration Manager to oversee integration, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness of critical rail systems within tunnel environments. Lead multidisciplinary teams, provide program-level guidance across disciplines, and act as a technical authority on systems integration, NFPA-130 life-safety requirements, and emergency infrastructure systems. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, agencies, and stakeholders; directing installation, testing, and commissioning of track, signaling, traction power, and communications; ensuring compliance with technical specifications, budgets, and schedules; and supporting long-term operational planning and system turnover. Requires extensive rail experience, strong leadership, and ability to travel between NYC/NJ project sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 15 years of experience supporting major rail, transit, or transportation infrastructure programs
- Extensive experience with rail systems, track, signaling, traction power, communications systems, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Significant experience supporting tunnel or underground infrastructure projects is strongly preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable
