Job Summary
Technical Systems Lead overseeing design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud services, POS, SharePoint, end-user devices) to ensure availability, performance, security, and resilience. Requires collaboration with stakeholders to align systems with business requirements, experience in IT security management, incident response, risk management, and project leadership. Must hold a degree in IT or equivalent experience and demonstrate strong negotiation, diplomacy, and leadership abilities for mentoring IT staff. Position is in-person based in Elgin, Moray, UK.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience leading design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud services, POS, SharePoint, end-user devices)
- Experience in IT security management (cybersecurity, threat detection, incident response, risk management)
- Experience in help desk support and project management
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor IT staff
