Job Summary
Technical Systems Lead at Frasers Group Financial Services leads the design and development of scalable technical solutions that enable service delivery strategies and customer journeys. The role defines technical patterns, integration approaches, and automation strategies to support delivery, translates operational requirements into clear technical designs with consideration for cost, complexity, scalability and risk, and partners with Operational Design to ensure co-developed designs. Responsibilities include owning the AI and automation roadmap, engaging with platform suppliers, translating designs into delivery scope and acceptance criteria, supporting delivery planning, and contributing to prototyping and early validation. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in technical solution design within a service delivery environment, can translate business requirements into scalable designs, understands automation and AI-driven solutions, and can manage stakeholders across multiple teams in a regulated financial services context. The position emphasizes governance between design, build and release, continuous improvement, and a proactive, outcomes-focused mindset, with background checks required for employment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in technical solution design within a service delivery environment
- Proven ability to translate business and operational strategy requirements into scalable technical designs
- Experience across process and system design
- Strong understanding of automation, workflow orchestration, integration patterns and AI-driven solutions
- Experience engaging with third-party technology providers and platform suppliers
- Ability to define clear requirements, acceptance criteria and test approaches for delivery teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven stakeholder management acrossOperational Design, Technology, Product and Delivery teams
- Hands-on mindset with prototype/early-stage solution validation
