Technical Support X-Ray Engineer

Job Summary
Provide corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of medical imaging equipment (x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) at customer facilities; perform PM events, site planning, and interaction with customers/contractors; complete state and FDA paperwork for radiation-generating equipment; order parts, manage tickets, and maintain tools; work from a home office with limited overnight travel and participate in on-call coverage after hours; responsibilities include installation and commissioning of imaging systems (including basic x-ray, digital imaging, PACS, networking, C-Arms, Fluoro), project management aspects of site preparation, and adherence to regulatory requirements; requires ongoing technical support, repairs, and customer service across multiple OEM platforms and imaging modalities.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 5 Plus years' experience in the Medical Imaging Field Service industry with proven knowledge and skill in diagnosing and repair Medical Imaging equipment
- Training and experience on OEMs and equipment lines is a plus
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Competencies: Detail oriented and self-motivated; Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook; Proficient in basic computer skills, windows and networking applications; Strong verbal and written communication skills
