Technical Support Team Lead (Mgr Project Management 3)

Technical Support Team Lead in Australia leading a team of engineering and supplier quality professionals conducting Supplier Validation assessments to onboard Australia suppliers into the nuclear-powered submarine supply chain. Reports to the Senior Project Manager; responsibilities include establishing the supplier assurance function, validating assessments, managing the supplier assessment process from down-selection to CAP close-out, conducting field visits and audits, writing post-audit reports with gap analyses, supporting reporting and monitoring, participating in trade shows/events, supporting proposals for additional services, facilitating corrective actions through training and liaison, coordinating technical data exchange, coaching through qualification, liaising with subject matter experts, and performing periodic post-award supplier assessments to ensure performance. Travel domestic and overseas; travel expected 11-25%. Leadership duties include leading, mentoring, coaching supplier quality assurance practitioners, and developing checklists/processes for validation and qualification activities.
