Technical Support Specialist (Mid-shift)

Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and network issues for end-users by acting as the initial contact for all support inquiries. Answer support calls, create or update tickets, and guide users through step-by-step solutions while clearly communicating technical fixes in a professional manner. Escalate complex or sensitive problems to senior technicians as needed and follow defined procedures to address recurring issues. This mid-shift role operates from 3pm to 12am in a professional office environment, requiring strong communication skills and a basic understanding of desktop operating systems and network principles.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of desktop operating systems, various software applications and PC/Server/Network hardware
- Basic understanding of principles and theories of network systems and management
- Basic understanding of Internet technologies and products
- At least one year of technical work experience or equivalent education
- Use of a personal mobile phone is required for work-related communication
- Infrequent travel is expected for this position
- Regularly required to talk or hear
- Frequently required to sit for long periods of time
- Frequently required to stand
- Frequently required to walk
- Frequently required to use hands to type, handle or feel
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Occasionally required to lift and move up to 25 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of technical work experience
- One or more relevant technical certifications (e.g., A+, Network+ and Security+)
