Job Summary
Technical Support Specialist providing frontline IT support across multiple systems for the Army National Guard, performing hands-on troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user assistance while collaborating with cybersecurity, network, and engineering partners to keep systems compliant and mission-ready; supports DoD/enterprise IT capabilities and contributes to a high-impact mission in a fast-paced environment. Requires experience with Windows, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, ticketing workflows, and active security clearances; opportunities for collaboration with mission partners and exposure to DoD IT environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience providing Tier I and II IT support in an enterprise or DoD environment
- Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems and common enterprise applications
- Active Directory user and group administration
- Maintaining ticketing workflows and document actions clearly for audit and compliance
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
- Ability to resolve hardware and software issues with minimal oversight
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- TS/SCI clearance
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
- HS diploma or GED
