Job Summary
The Technical Support Specialist at FMH Conveyors will lead technical support efforts as a liaison between customers and internal resources, prioritizing and executing all related jobs and inquiries. Key responsibilities include managing incoming technical support inquiries, providing timely customer support, liaising with engineering and service teams, creating and reviewing service quotes, utilizing SOPs and RCAs to address recurring issues, and coordinating field change activities. Candidates should have a Technical or Associates Degree, a minimum of 3 years in-field service experience, and excellent communication and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Technical or Associates Degree preferred
- 3+ years of in-field service experience or troubleshooting support for conveying equipment
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- High degree of professionalism and strong communication, leadership, and teamwork orientation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Sales Force and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn new ERP Systems (Epicor)
- Expert level in Excel with experience in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
