Job Summary
Supports the user community by diagnosing and resolving network, workstation, and software problems as the first point of contact with IT. Performs 1st/2nd tier technical support, on-call incident response, IQ/OQ for new PCs, and software/hardware management. Maintains data integrity, documents configurations, and supports network infrastructure in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines (GLP/GMP/GCP, GDP, GMP, CLIA, ISO 9001, FDA). Requires familiarity with Windows networks, Active Directory, VMware ESX, ISCSI SAN, TCP/IP, 802.11, IPSEC, VLANs, and Microsoft Office; strong problem-solving and customer-service skills; ability to work in a team and adhere to confidential information policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (AS) or current enrollment in bachelor's program (B.S. /B. A.) in Computer Science and 1-2 years related experience preferred.
- Experience as a PC Technician / Help Desk Technician, Preferred.
