Job Summary
Supervise and mentor delegated authority handlers to deliver technical excellence across Employer's Liability, Public Liability, and civil penalty appeals. Drive financial authority audits and devise strategies for sub-team files while ensuring commercial handling of complex claims. Manage a personal caseload involving data protection, Equality Act, and human rights issues alongside client audits and face-to-face meetings. Embed KYO strategies, attend internal technical meetings, and deliver bespoke training to your team. Build relationships with Keoghs clients while achieving targets for chargeable hours and client MI collection.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor/CILEX
- Experience of handling a caseload of EL/PL files up to £100k
- Previous litigation experience
- Previous supervision experience
- Financial Authority of at least £25k
- Good advocacy skills
- Positive, confident and enthusiastic
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent client care skills and evidence of working to client guidelines
- Ability to prioritise work, keep to deadlines and work under pressure
- High level of analytical skills
- Ability to make decisions and delegate effectively
- Ability to anticipate problems and identify solutions
- Ability to win the trust and confidence, inspire and motivate
- The ability to demonstrate resilience
