Job Summary
Technical Support for Drama is responsible for the technical operations of the auditorium for theater productions, including lighting, sound, set design and construction, and coordinating maintenance. The role includes operating and maintaining technical assets (lighting, sound, and communications equipment), determining technical supports (lighting, sound, staging, and needs for the play), designing and maintaining lighting and sound systems for theatre and related performances, assisting with technical specifications and budgets, supervising the implementation of approved designs, supervising set and stage construction, recruiting/training/assigning technical staff, monitoring equipment condition and arranging repairs within budget, assisting with production budgets and inventory, attending rehearsals, and making recommendations on equipment purchases. Other duties as assigned. This is an Extra Duty Contract for the 2026-2027 school year and is based at Pacific High School in Pacific, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in technical support preferred
- Approved member of MVR-III teaching staff preferred
