Job Summary
Conduct primary technical support for Jamison, Jamison HPD, and future product lines, leading calls for these lines with engineering support while assisting BMP USA customers. Handle electrical and mechanical operating issues, manage product warranty claims, and inspect parts upon return. Occasionally travel to assist or provide on-site training with customers in the field. Collaborate with the technical service department to create a strong team for the BMP Group and assist engineering with electrical design solutions, product updates, and new product development. Requires full-time, on-site work in Hagerstown, MD, reporting to the VP of Engineering & IT, with a pay rate of $25-$30 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- three (3) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- basic computer skills
- Detail oriented

- Excellent mechanical skills
- familiarity with power and hand tools
- Technically competent
- quick study

- Must be able to travel to assist or do on-site training with customers in the field
- Must be available for on-site role in Hagerstown, MD
Desired Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of experience
- Associate's degree in the field or a related area
- Experience at a call center
- hands on equipment repair work
- Experience in troubleshooting equipment
- Experience with ladder logic and wiring diagrams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
