Job Summary
Senior Technical Support Engineer (Sydney) provides high-level technical assistance for Cohesity products, diagnosing and debugging software/hardware across cloud, on-prem, and edge deployments. The role emphasizes customer-facing support, knowledge-base documentation, collaboration with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering), mentoring of other engineers, participation in product previews/UAT, and a strong foundation in operating systems, virtualization, networking, storage, databases, cloud platforms, and automation scripting. Onsite at the Sydney support center with a hybrid mix of collaboration and hands-on troubleshooting, joining a global leader in AI-powered data security.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Sys Admin or related enterprise Technical Support
- 2nd/3rd level support in enterprise product company or LIVE production environment
- Experience with NetBackup/Data Protection
- Certifications: Linux+, Network+, Server+; Red Hat RHCSA/RHCE; Cisco CCNA/CCNP; Cloud certifications (AWS, Microsoft, Google)
