Technical Support Engineer - Semiconductor Metrology

Technical Support Engineer focusing on semiconductor metrology. Document technical work and best known methods (BKMs) on released products; drive field adoption of knowledge management systems; perform routine diagnosis and resolution of characterization, demos, or field projects; participate in service alert calls, assist senior with data/report preparation, and support Field Engineers during CM activities. After achieving L3 product certification, assist in field during CM activities as on-the-job training. Lead small projects, contribute to POA development, and ensure knowledge data or system improvements. Provide L1-L3 escalation support with plan of action and on-site support. Travel approximately 40% (domestic/international); fab time 20-40%; training time ~50%. Requires clear written and verbal communication, ability to present in formal settings, and openness to learning new technical skills. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree with 0 years or a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience (or equivalent). There is an emphasis on customer education and problem resolution, with the role involving troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration across field teams.
